High School Youth MinistryAll 9th-12th graders are encouraged to get involved in the service and spiritual opportunities offered here at Saint Susanna. Our goal is to strengthen to equip young people to be true disciples of Jesus Christ. We have a weekly PEER (youth group) meeting every Wednesday from 6:30-8:00 p.m. (beginning with daily Mass at 6:00p.m. Retreats, mission trips, service opportunities, and conferences are also great opportunities offered to our High School Youth where they can deepen their Catholic faith.
Our High School Youth Ministry Program is intended to encourage discipleship in combination with the Confirmation Preparation and Faith Formation programs. Adults Willing to ChaperoneAll adults must have completed Safe & Sacred and have a current Background Check on file in order to chaperone any event with the youth of our parish.

PEER (High School Youth Group)
Join us each Wednesday evening for 6:00 p.m. Mass We will be meeting in the Fr. Glenn Parish Center from 6:30-8:00 to pray and laugh together. All 9th-12th graders are welcome to join us for fellowship, prayer and a discussion about a topic of faith. Meetings are low key and the community is welcoming and strong. We always start with sharing our 'Highs & Lows' of the last week and end with a shared prayer. |
Catholic Heart Workcamp Mission Trip
Summer 2023 Current 8th-12th graders are eligible to attend Join us for a week of service, prayer, and extreme fun! It's absolutely worth the sacrifice of time. Expect to grow a lot as a person and to grow deeply in your Catholic Faith. Serving the poor is always a tremendous experience. The Lord's Pantry: Anna's House
Middle & High School Youth Ministry from 8:30 a.m.-approx. 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 20, 2022 Saturday, January 14, 2023 Saturday, April 22, 2023 All 6th-12th graders are welcome to join us for this unique service opportunity. You will set up and prepare a food pantry that will serve between 150-200 families. Guests receive a lot of fresh produce, breads, and meat. You should plan to dress in layers and be willing to work hard! |
Shanty Town- Homelessness Simulation
High School Youth Ministry 2023 Date TBA Cost: $20.00 Cost will cover food expenses and various service projects for the homeless and those in need in our community All 9th-12th graders are welcome to join us for this unique opportunity to experience homelessness for one night. We are also in need of a few adult chaperones. Bring your own box to sleep in. Bring a pillow and sleeping bag, but do not plan to bring a change of clothes. Dinner and breakfast will be provided. We will participate in service in the afternoon. We will be attending 7:30 a.m. Mass on Sunday, October 7 and you will be sent home shortly after Mass. Contact Ellice Bedel with questions! |

NCYC (National Catholic Youth Conference) 2023 Registration Coming in spring of 2023 Contact Ellice Bedel if you're still interested in registering NCYC is a biennial gathering of high school youth from around the United States. It is an opportunity for you to experience the true universality of the Catholic Church by praying, going to Mass, and experiencing Christ in Reconciliation and Adoration with other Catholics from around the country. NCYC always attracts some of the biggest and best known Catholic speakers and musicians, and brings them together to share their time and experiences with you in break-out sessions and workshops. There are also plenty of opportunities for you to get to know other people from different regions of the U.S. Entertainment includes concerts, a dance, a comedy club as well as interactive exhibits. Ultimately, NCYC is a weekend get-together with the you, the Holy Trinity, and 23,000 of your closest friends. |
