Middle School Youth Ministry
All 6th-8th grade students are encouraged to get involved in the service and social opportunities offered through Middle School Youth Ministry where they can deepen their relationships with their peers in our Catholic Community. They will have fun, grow as individuals, and grow closer to Jesus Christ through their involvement.
Our Middle School Youth Ministry Program is mostly event-based and is intended to encourage discipleship in combination with the EDGE Program. All 6th-8th grade students who do not receive religious education at school are encouraged to enroll in EDGE Program to provide that formation. Click below for more information:
Adults Willing to Chaperone

The Jr. High Youth Rally is a one-day event for all students in grades 6-8 to explore their faith and grow deeper in relationship with Christ through music, prayer, and talks prepared by our keynote speaker and high school breakout presenters. Dinner is provided and finishes up with a concert.
The event is sponsored by the parishes in the Indianapolis South Deanery, but all parishes in the Archdiocese of Indianapolis are welcome to attend and bring students. We always bring a good group from St. Susanna, and it’s an awesome event!

#nofilter - God's Image of You
YOU are an image of God! HE created YOU uniquely and purposefully! But do you ever take away the filter to view yourself as God sees you? Come join us as we celebrate the creation of you and begin the discovery of how you can powerfully live out your mission to “respect your selfie”!
#socialmedia101 - Social Media
If Jesus had Instagram, what would he post? In this session we will talk about how to be a good and holy social media using disciple! We will discuss the "do's and don'ts" of social media and how to spread the gospel through our social media posts.
#nowplaying - Movies, Music and More
Being a teenager means you are surrounded by pop culture - the music, movies and TV shows of your generation. Do you ever find yourself regretting something you watched or listened to? This session will explore pop culture from the teen's perspective and give you some tools to help make choices that will leave you with no regrets.
#squadgoals - Friendship
"Friendship...is born at the moment when one man says to another 'What! You too? I thought that no one but myself..." (C.S. Lewis) Have you ever found yourself saying this with your friends? Yeah, me too! Our friendships are just one of the many ways we can experience God's love in this world, but what is the purpose of these friendships? Can we really get to know God by spending time with our friends? This breakout session will talk about the gifts we have and how we can share them with others. We'll talk about goals for our friendships
